Project Manager

Job Summary

 Manages, supervises and implements the design, planning and management of a wide range of projects from an ice maker installation to management of complex engineering and construction projects such as a new maintenance facility or new Clubhouse. Works with architects, engineers, consultants, internal staff during the design and project administration.  Client-centric, resolution-oriented and task driven for the safe and timely completion of simple to complicated activities. Ability to manage and track approximately fifty projects annually.  


Job Tasks

  • Coordinate material deliveries and loading around other scheduled events.
  •  Drive the project meeting updates including presentation to the Board of Directors.
  • Coordination with other departments for competitive quotes, estimating, submittals and accounting.
  • Attend job site meeting as necessary.
  • Communicate solutions and resolve problems.
  • Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction and motivation.
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, implementation plans including risk mitigation.
  • Identify and engage internal and external resources to ensure adherence to scope, schedule and budget.
  • Project include Boca Grove POA and homeowner association with the community.
  • Tracking of each project, updating forecasted budget, estimate to complete and expected completion dates.
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels, escalate issues, as necessary. Perform other duties as requested by Management

Qualifications

  • 4- year bachelor’s or 2-year Associate’s degree.
  • Four or more years of project management experience.
  • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • CAM license in Florida or promise to obtain six months from starting date.
  • Detail oriented and able to work independently.
  • Excellent human relations skills, oral/written communication skills and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Organization and planning skills required.
  • Microsoft Office, Excel, and Project Management software required.
