Job Title: Racquets Professional, Pickleball and Padel

Reports To: Head of Racquets or other Manager and/or Director

- Member Engagement:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with members, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all pickleball and padel inquiries, offering expert advice and support.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.
- Program Coordination:
- Plan, organize, and execute pickleball and padel clinics, tournaments, leagues, and social events.
- Collaborate with the head racquets professional to design and implement programs that enhance member engagement and participation.
- Monitor and evaluate the success of programs and events, adjusting as necessary to improve member satisfaction.
- Facility Maintenance:
- Ensure the cleanliness and overall upkeep of pickleball and padel courts, including regular inspections and maintenance.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to address any repair or maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies, ensuring all items are in good condition and available for member use.
- Instruction and Coaching:
- Provide individual and group lessons to members, tailoring instruction to meet their specific needs and skill levels.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in pickleball and padel to deliver high-quality coaching.
- Administrative Duties:
- Manage scheduling and reservations for pickleball and padel courts.
- Maintain accurate records of participation, equipment inventory, and maintenance activities.
- Prepare regular reports on program performance and member feedback for club management.
6. Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce safety rules and guidelines to prevent injuries.
- Ensure compliance with the facility's policies and regulations.
7.Merchandise and Retail:
- Recommend and sell Wilson pickleball and Padel equipment and merchandise.
- Keep up with the latest equipment trends to advise players on purchases.
8. Networking and Collaboration:
- Network with other pickleball professionals to share best practices.
- Collaborate with local businesses and organizations for sponsorships and partnerships.

Education and/or Experience: High school degree or GED, IPTPA and/or USPTA certification, Skilled in Microsoft Office for programing implementation. Minimum 5 years of experience may fulfill degree requirements. Pickleball game score of 4.0+ of higher. Must have a teaching certification and ability to instruct players of all ages. Staying updated with the latest trends and techniques in pickleball. Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to improve coaching skills. Maintain and renew professional certifications as required.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
